Who says old dogs can’t learn a new trick? This is a great opportunity to work with your pets on a new trick. It can be as simple as having them sit before being fed or going outside or something more fun like roll over. The key to teaching your pet a new trick or command is to be consistent. You may need to practice it for a few minutes, several times a day for consecutive days. Also, find something that motivates them. This is often food, but maybe for your pet it’s a toy or ball. Use this to reinforce a good job as you’re teaching them tricks.
