- Meet Our Team
- Our team is committed to educating our clients on how to keep their pets healthy year round.
Marianne Bailey, DVM:
Dr. Bailey is the owner of Queenstown Veterinary Hospital. She grew up in southern Maryland and completed grade school in Calvert County. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science from Auburn University and then a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine 4 years later. Her special interests include surgery and geriatric care. Dr. Bailey understands that as pets age they require a different kind of veterinary care and the importance of wellness plans for geriatric pets as she recently said goodbye to her 15-year-old Dachshund, Maggie. Maggie taught Dr. Bailey many things and gave her insight to the amazing life that 3-legged-dogs can have. Since graduating vet school, Dr. Bailey has been dedicated to making sure all geriatric dogs live comfortably in their senior years. She also feels community involvement is very important and is working with her team of doctors and staff to develop free educational programs to help strengthen the human-animal bond our clients share. Before coming to Queenstown Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Bailey worked in Anne Arundel County where she lives. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Maryland Veterinary Medicine Association (MVMA) and the Anne Arundel Veterinary Association.
