Dr. Marianne Bailey
Dr. Bailey is the owner of Queenstown Veterinary Hospital. She grew up in southern Maryland and completed grade school in Calvert County. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science from Auburn University and then a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine 4 years later. Her special interests include surgery and geriatric care. Dr. Bailey understands that as pets age they require a different kind of veterinary care and the importance of wellness plans for geriatric pets, as she recently said goodbye to her 17-year-old Labrador Molly that was her family dog growing up. Since graduating vet school, Dr. Bailey has been dedicated to making sure Molly, and other geriatric dogs, live comfortably in their senior years. She lives in the Annapolis area with her daschund Maggie. Before coming to Queenstown Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Bailey worked in Anne Arundel County. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Maryland Veterinary Medicine Association (MVMA) and the Anne Arundel Veterinary Association. She founded the Eastern Shore Veterinary Medical Association in 2016.

She has a Min Pin named Ray, a bull mastiff named Bella, and two orange Tabby cats, Izzy and Eddie. Her favorite hobby is being with all her loving animal companions, gardening, and enjoying Ravens football, of which she is a #1 fan.
CJ is currently working part time with us while he attends classes to become a registered veterinary technician. We first met him when he came to us as an intern through Chesapeake College's Vet Assistant program. He has since completed the program and is looking forward to being accepted into the Vet Tech program at Community College of Baltimore County in the fall of 2014. You may also recognize him from Canine County Club, a local boarding facility, where he had worked as a kennel attendant and receptionist since 2005. CJ has been around animals his whole life including birds, fish, rabbits, cats, and dogs. He currently has a 14 year old sun conure named Skittles and a 9 year old lab mix named Tucker. We hope to teach CJ as much as we can and give guidance throughout his journey in becoming a certified veterinary technician.
